Pentagon releases dozens of UFO files offering transparency on ‘alien and extraterrestrial life’

While the release has reignited public fascination with alien life, Pentagon representatives emphasized that the documents do not confirm the existence of extraterrestrials. Instead, officials stated that many sightings remain unresolved due to limited data or technological uncertainty.

“The goal is transparency,” one defense spokesperson said during a briefing. “We are committed to sharing information with the public whenever national security considerations allow.”

Among the most discussed materials are cockpit videos captured by Navy pilots over the past two decades. Some clips show fast-moving objects that investigators were unable to immediately identify. These videos previously circulated online before being officially acknowledged by the U.S. government in recent years.
