What I Saw on My Garage Wall Looked Scary Until I Learned What It Really Was

My first reaction was concern.

From a distance, it looked like a swarm of insects, a strange fungus, or perhaps even some kind of animal nest. Whatever it was, it didn’t belong on my garage wall.

Naturally, I kept my distance.

A Closer Look Raises More Questions

The object appeared almost alive. Its uneven shape and dark color made it look intimidating, especially in the dim lighting of the garage.

The longer I stared at it, the more possibilities came to mind.

Was it dangerous?

Could it damage the house?

Should I call pest control?

I considered removing it immediately but decided it would be smarter to identify it first.

That decision turned out to be a very good one.
