The Jokes Never Seemed to End

Daniel was one of the smartest students in our grade.

He worked hard, treated everyone with respect, and never sought attention.

Yet despite all of his qualities, many people focused on a single thing.

The jokes came regularly.

Some were disguised as harmless teasing.
