2. Migraines

More intense and often disruptive, Migraine headaches are not just “bad headaches”—they’re a neurological condition.

What it feels like:

  • Throbbing or pulsing pain (often on one side)
  • Sensitivity to light and sound
  • Nausea or vomiting

Some people also experience visual disturbances known as “auras” before the headache begins.


3. Cluster Headaches

Less common but extremely painful, Cluster Headache episodes occur in cycles or “clusters.”

What it feels like:

  • Intense burning or piercing pain, usually around one eye
  • Redness or tearing in the eye
  • Nasal congestion

They often strike suddenly and can happen multiple times a day for weeks or months.
