“THE DIFFERENT TYPES OF HEADACHES.”

1. Tension Headaches

The most common type, often described as a dull, aching pressure.

What it feels like:

  • Tight band around the head
  • Mild to moderate pain
  • Pressure in the forehead, temples, or back of the head

Common triggers:

  • Stress
  • Poor posture
  • Eye strain
  • Fatigue

These are generally not severe but can become frequent if stress isn’t managed.

2. Migraines

More intense and often disruptive,  headaches are not just “bad headaches”—they’re a neurological condition.

What it feels like:

  • Throbbing or pulsing pain (often on one side)
  • Sensitivity to light and sound
  • Nausea or vomiting

Some people also experience visual disturbances known as “auras” before the headache begins.
