Spanish emergency services are coordinating with port authorities, regional hospitals, and infectious disease specialists to manage the arrival safely. Temporary isolation areas are expected to be established at the port, and passengers displaying symptoms may be transferred directly to medical facilities for evaluation and treatment.

Authorities emphasized that there is currently no indication of a widespread outbreak among passengers or crew. However, officials are taking preventive action due to the confined nature of cruise ships, where illnesses can spread rapidly if not contained early.

Passengers onboard have reportedly been advised to remain in their cabins while health assessments continue. Crew members are distributing protective equipment and conducting enhanced sanitation measures throughout the vessel. Contact tracing procedures are also expected to begin immediately once the ship docks.
