One day an old lady went to the doctor

The Conversation

The doctor greeted her warmly and asked her what had brought her in. At first, she hesitated. It wasn’t always easy to describe how you feel when the discomfort isn’t sharp or obvious.

But eventually, she explained everything—the fatigue, the occasional dizziness, the way her energy just wasn’t what it used to be.

The doctor listened carefully, asking gentle questions and taking notes. A few tests were recommended, just to be sure nothing important was being missed.

Waiting for Answers

After the examination, she left the office with instructions and a follow-up appointment. Like many medical visits, the answers wouldn’t come instantly.

The waiting can often feel like the hardest part—not knowing, imagining possibilities, and trying not to worry too much.

But she reminded herself that taking action was already a good step.
